People who suffered the punishment of feet amputation, testicle mashing, castration, hands ears noses lips cut off, what have you…served as WARNINGS to others who might see the disfigured person wallowing on remaining limbs crawling through the street mud and「begging, pawing like a cat」of the JUDGEMENT and power of GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY…those folks normally could thereafter only be employed as palace clowns, as entertainment for royalty, paid in tossed food scraps for a good performance. Severed body parts were often displayed impaled on lances, or hung from tree limbs tied by the victim's own hair, to serve as WARNINGS to the living and assert GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY and JUDGEMENT EXECUTED by the feudal lord or king, EXECUTIONS. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
