A「loose wetlands, loose plugged orifice or rice paddy」is cultivated soil, slurry muck…and CULTIVATED SOIL means it has recently been plowed and likely fertilized. STEROID NUCLEUS in steroids「…are synthesized and secreted into the bloodstream by endocrine glands such as the adrenal cortex and the gonads (ovary and testis). Steroid hormones are all characterized by the steroid nucleus which is composed of three six member rings and one five member ring, ingeniously labeled A, B, C, and D respectively.」

Note that 'testosterone' is formed from the words 'testes + steroid + hormone.'
As GROUND UNDER CULTIVATION FOR LESS THAN ONE YEAR, the meaning is obviously related to the start of the practice of plowing into and pumping fertilizing fecal matter into that soil to create SLURRY (「think of it as your soil on steroids」).
It is difficult to argue against the CALAMITY, EVIL of whatever may have been in progress when「stuff begins flying out of a plugged orifice.」…an orifice of any size.
