　「Snake」and「spread legs」only encompassing the snake's short leg portion, as「short leg between spread legs with vulva, two sides」a euphemism for both genital regions.「Inside」also stems from「inside a female animal's legs」(yes, the snake's legs) meaning FIRMLY ATTACHED, CONNECTED. Snakes have vestigial hind legs, claw-like appendages that are held「inside」around the cloaca, the orifice used for copulation, called「anal spurs」as barbs with which the female snake FIRMLY ATTACHES herself to the skin of the male snake during reproduction.
