「Eating, with trust」: so-called 'rice cakes' are made from pounding cooked rice until nearly no seeds or grain shapes remain and the mass becomes a whitish, sticky wad that can easily be pulled into stringy, long, thin strands, not unlike ejaculated semen as the elements suggest,「eating repeatedly with array of penis.」Pharyngeal gonorrhea is also a common occurrence any time of any year:「The prevalence of gonorrhea of the pharynx among select samples of men who have sex with men (MSM) ranges from 9% to 15%. …Pharyngeal gonorrhea was positively associated with younger age and the number of insertive oral sex partners in the past 3 months. Ejaculation did not increase the risk of pharyngeal gonorrhea. Gonorrhea of the pharynx was asymptomatic [you can't see or smell it] in 92% of cases.」

Note that there is nothing cake-like about mochi given the Western idea of cake. Attempting to swallow too large of a bite of mochi without adequately chewing it first results in death by asphyxiation, a common occurrence around the New Year in Japan…hence,「food entrusted」prior to being swallowed, again not unlike ejaculated semen as the elements suggest. Broiled or grilled mochi becomes「bubbly, full of bubbles」and often「blackened」(皂), an element that also appears within this glyph. Note that「cake」fundamentally does not refer to the end product of a light, fluffy, sugary baked confection, but actually refers to the raw material of thick batter before baking. 'cake, caked' means to cover or fill with a thick layer, as of compacted matter or crusty mass, for example: a coal miner whose face was caked with soot, or the oil cake formed after pressing oil from seeds, or that coats the oil catch pan of machining lathes.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect. The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language? (More...)
