Elements speak for themselves: the young can produce fluids prolifically, and as we all get a little older the flows diminish, regrettably. Outpouring overflow dipping into and spilling the contents elsewhere, with no control over where the fluids falls. Lifting a full ladle submerged within a pot always causes overflowing from the scoop. FLUENT means to be capable of fluid flows, and, flowing smoothly or gracefully.
