「Soil time, opportunity」as NESTING (sitting on eggs), or as ROOSTING (sleeping and excreting, a different activity than is nesting), and copulating are all various activities of chickens, but each activity does have some relationship with its cloaca (the combination egg-laying orifice, copulatory port, and feces-urine excretory vent). Spiral and vortex also may relate to the manner in which chickens copulate:
　「The completed mating in chickens is the culmination of a sequence of behaviours. The rooster will initiate mating by exhibiting courtship behaviour: dropping one wing and dancing in a circle (the lowered wing will be on the inside of the circle dance). The hen will crouch (dip her head and body) to indicate receptiveness to the male. 　A VORTEX is whirling mass of fluid (liquid or gas) in screwing motion that sucks everything near it toward its center from which escape is difficult if not impossible:「feces time」in a backdoor entryway addiction spiralling downward, perhaps? or「opium time」?「impacting rod in orifice with squeezing grip, throbbing」may well apply more as an allegorical euphemism to the human male's bird (penis) and chicks, birds (females with spiralling vortex port. See 巴 and 円) rather than literally to roosters, since most rooster chickens are no longer equipped with a discernable phallus.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
