ELM seeds when dispersed are so numerous that they will often clog any nearby drainage trough or sluice, causing a small area flood. The ELM tree, said to have 'perfect flowers' that are mostly wind-pollenated, i.e., the gametes are dispersed by blowing in the wind upward. Elm trees are hard and slow-growing but reach great heights and size, reaching「to heaven.」A perfect flower has both stamens and carpels, and may be described as「bisexual」or「hermaphroditic」able to supply gametes to either sex. ELM SEEDS resemble many crusty splatted drops of dried fluid, such as when occurred「woody with delivery of bevy of new divas」to a lord.
