A BANYAN tree is a species of fig that starts by growing upon a host tree where seeds germinate within its cracks, crevices and crotches. The young tree then send out root shoots to the soil below, much like the legs of a person while squatting to excrete…formerly, most all humans did not sit upon throne-like seats to defecate or urinate as did royalty, but instead squatted on their own two feet while holding onto something else.
Leaves of the PAPER MULBERRY (as「tree with massive anal activity」) have been used to wipe and clean human and other animal anal orifices since before the beginning:「The tree, with extra-large leaves, soft on one side, rough on the other, is also a common source of woodland toilet paper.」

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
