「Piece of hard wood」within an「orifice, or, mouth」「juxtaposed orifices」as POWERFUL SPURTING FLUIDS.
　「Sickbed, bier」and「vent, opening」: sick congealed rods and/or sick bed-ridden orifices often release POWERFUL and PUNGENT odors, and also SPURT FLUIDS.「Congealed rod of woody with orifice」as an INFUSION of bacterial and/or viral pathogens in a MIXTURE OF FLUIDS from one to the other, or in both directions simultaneously.
　「Congealed, change of state with vulva」: a taste or smell with a powerful, sharp, acrid sensation. Becoming violent, upsurge, clashing of a lord with a concubine due to leaving a bad taste in one's mouth or foul fishy odor. Lord (assumed as the left element) spurting at concubine (assumed as the right element), slamming hard into something with froth flying, and so on.
　All the previous explanations do not seem too pleasant, so maybe the elements are simply depicting「flaccid to turgid then hitting the bull's eye smack in the middle of the vulva.」…then again「twice」「on both sides」might become a bit PUNGENT too, with FLUIDS MIXING, SMASHING and SPURTING…ad infinitum.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
