PRECIPITOUS literally refers to the condition or status just prior to precipitating, that is to say, liquids about to form and about to fall. PRECIPITOUS also refers to a CAUSE OF SOMETHING OCCURRING ESPECIALLY IF UNEXPECTED SUDDEN OR PREMATURELY: elements depict that the cause of a torn perineum and/or the bloody flow from a deflowering vaginally and/or anally as the glans penis of a raping old relative, or something phallic that resembles a glans penis employed by a raping old relative. Significantly however, the blood and other fluids are not yet flowing or precipitating since the bodily tissue is not yet punctured. PRECIPITOUS describes potentiality to fall, not the actual falling of anything. A precipitous lofty position of danger at the top of a high cliff for example describes where someone could fall straight down a long way, but has not fallen, perhaps still peeping over the edge of disaster but not crossing the point of no return.
A LOFT, or something resembling a loft, is an unbroken, unpartitioned floor with no hole or gap, with no jagged-looking stairway attached for access: that is in the elements, the perineum or other external flooring such as the hymen in as yet an unbroken, unpunctured state or condition. A loft has no hole for stairs, and therefore must be accessed by using a ladder or some other method, usually no railings for safety and are therefore PRECIPITOUS with a danger of falling when careless. Will that circle be unbroken?

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment
(see 籒 for that)
and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language.
If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system.
Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is!
Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up.
No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
This site describes glyph meanings, not people.
These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language?

Despite how bad the human world is today, do you actually believe that the so-called good old days were any better? Or they could only have been worse?
By the way, with a limited number of the same elements used by the sages again and again to form these glyphs,
you should expect to find the same explanations again and again, as tedious as that may become, and as an inherent trait of any dictionary.
This site explains the dual meanings of glyphs most often ignored by other sources that provide you with only the sanctioned definition, generally.
