「Wood with easy meat」: Chinese invented a system to hoist a person in a swinging harness off the floor, spread the lower limbs by pulling the knees up to armpit level fully exposing the crotch, prevent movement of the subject other than minor squirming and contractions of the sphincter muscles, and permit unrestricted access from both the front and rear simultaneously, enabling exquisite movements for long duration with a modicum of physical effort that facilitated concentration on other issues (apparatus was often depicted in Chinese erotic art, for obvious reasons). Likely, 'Susan' was a corruption of the word Szechuan, since the English opium traders may not have learned the language all that well. A platform set upon a table or base for turning a heavy object, providing equal access to those seated around the device to any sort of meat(s) placed thereon with a minimum of physical effort and movements…restraining belts and fastening harnesses optional in this case, but preferred to be sure.
