Bundling anything often makes for convenience. A BRAID is to create something by interweaving similar things within one another, on top of the same material that was there before. In addition to a long braid of hair, a QUEUE refers to standing in a long line, waiting one's turn at something,「person in between ejaculations again and again within excretions, slimy emissions」refers to a service provider or concubine, someone in China likely to have long hair braided in a queue—this and many other glyphs describe the dynastic Chinese practice of masturbating into a handful of the long silky hair worn by all sorts of people, and then BRAIDING THE HAIR, tying it behind one's back, until the emissions fully dried and could be more easily combed out of the hair.
Euphemisms such as BRAIDED, twisted CORD, MULTI-COLORED STRANDS or ROPE describe various colors of emissions when infected consisting of whitish semen, clear bulbourethral fluid, greenish and/or yellowish pus and gleet, red, brown, and/or black blood, and so on, often with chunky bits described by other glyphs as「hair ornamentation.」

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
