沖積段丘斜面（掵）で、腰をかがめて両手を使って稲の苗を植える。偶然にも、この行為により、「古き良き時代」にこの作業をしていた薄着の女性労働者の裸の臀部（阜）と性器も露わになる（写真参照）。左側に現れるこの構成要素は、段ーになった土壌の斜面を意味し、丘陵の斜面が最初に裸地になった、または、後に斜面の伐採された部分の片側から反対側まで長く曲がりくねったアーチを形成する水田を造る準備としてすべての木ーを切り倒し、根を取り除くことによって裸地にされたため、裸地という意味もあります。斜面に掘られた空洞は、水を保持し、不要な排水を防ぐために、圧縮された粘土の殻で覆われました。排水口が塞がれると、水田は液体、肥料としての糞便スラリー、泥で満たされる。その結果、性的な暗示とともに使用される場合、人間の臀部の婉曲表現でもあるが、一般的には、泥の列と植え付けられた緑の稲の苗の柱で段ーになった斜面。さらに、1回のセッションでさまざまな長さの柱が連続して衝突すると、段ーのように見える土壌の小段が形成され、それぞれが次の衝突によってさらに押し上げられ、もちろん、小段の間には泥水が溜まります。

Alluvial terraced slopes (see 掵)「using hands person bending over at the waist」to plant rice seedlings, an action that coincidentally also would reveal the naked buttocks (阜) and genitals of the scantily clad female workers doing that planting in the 'good old days…' (see 屙). This element appearing on the left means TERRACED SOIL SLOPES, also meaning NAKED since the slopes of the hills were first denuded, or made NAKED by cutting down all the trees and removing the roots in preparation for constructing the rice paddies that would later form long winding arches from one side of the clear-cut portion of the slope to the other. Cavities dug into the slope were then lined with a shell of compacted clay in order to hold water and prevent unwanted drainage. With the drainage orifice plugged, the paddies then became filled with fluids, fecal slurry as fertilizer, and mud. Consequently, also a euphemism for HUMAN BUTTOCKS when used with sexual innuendo, generally: SLOPE TERRACED WITH LINES OF MUCK AND IMPLANTED SHAFTS OF GREEN rice seedlings. In addition, successive impacting by shafts of various lengths in a single session might cause soil berms to form in what appear to be terraces, each pushed further up by a subsequent impaction, with pooling muck fluids between berms, of course.
　This element normally appears on the left, and any actions described by the right element in the same glyph would be performed facing a buttocks or a stepped slope. Note that a different element with the identical shape appears on the right side in glyphs, and means「village, town quarter, vagina」(…one side, or the other?) and refers to a VILLAGE as「a place where one wishes to dwell」but not always in some remote place way out in the countryside: also the special districts, zones, quarters within a larger city or town, often in the old days marked by surrounding walls with compacted SOIL SLOPES and gateways as checkpoints, restricted entryways, a self-contained city area as a separate community having its own specialized business establishments that cater to a specific kind or class of patron, but also its own local laws, government regulations, customs, and even language at times that apply within an administrative division at the local government level, patrolled by police.
