There are conflicting theories concerning the application of this glyph, but in any case, the item must be FLAWLESS, with a PERFECTLY smooth surface. Some sources state that this is a jade ring, proudly worn as an ornament by lords and likely used as a cockring by elderly men to remedy erectile dysfunction prior to the days of unsolicited Internet pharmaceutical offers. The PERFECTNESS of the surface polishing was necessary to avoid discomfort and bodily damage.
