「Bone flesh that plops.」…similar glyph used「terraced slope, buttocks」as the left element, and the whole thing may have meant「flesh that cascades or landslides or plops and drops down in rolls」or that appears from an open hole in the skin, as FAT, or the「flesh that follows after」eating the lean meat. Taken loosely, the next version using「bone」meant「the workings with the body that assist movement are with the fat in bones.」This glyph is also used to denote internal fluids such as within the「skull」that surround the brain, and within the spinal column, both functioning to assist and lubricate bodily movement with natural body grease. Note that this glyph uses a「left hand dropping, plopping from body meat」(and not a「right hand with flesh」meaning「existence due to having food」). MARROW is mostly fatty tissue inside bones, and is where red blood cells are produced. Red blood cells are the ESSENCE or CORE OF LIFE (one of them, at least), since without them breathing is not possible, being the vehicles for respiration and moving oxygen and carbon dioxide to and from all the body's cells.「Flesh that follows after」is another key to the ESSENCE OF LIFE, since animals scavenging in times of severe famine, when normal sources of prey are scarce,「follow after」the bigger predators and crack open the remaining bones in order to eat the marrow contained therein, rich in nutrients and fat, staving off their own starvation for another short while.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
