Some have suggested perhaps depicting a type of snarling, ferocious dog with enormous testicles used in SACRIFICIAL CONTRIBUTIONS, OFFERINGS and eaten afterwards. Refers to a barbarous region (in the south of China, or, south of China) where 'tiger schmekel, dog meat and gonads' were a favorite snack of as yet virgin princesses in an effort to boost blood levels of testosterone, no doubt due to being deprived of fornication.
