「両手に頭を持ち、平伏して何度も竿を上げ、頭を何度もねじる、重要なもの、動産、牛」で、雄は「土、排泄物」。雄が開口部を突き刺したり、何かを突き刺したりする様子を、ドアのボルトが象徴している。牛は通常土を突き刺さないが、豚は鼻先で土を掘り起こす。象形文字は、牛だけでなくあらゆる種の雄を指すと言われている…もしそうだとしたら、おそらく「頭を何度もねじる」で「肉の継ぎ目に竿」があるのか男性、鍵、そしておそらくはどんな丘であれ、男性器が挿入される塚の一般的な説明に適合します。「牛の土」は、放牧動物が土の上に堆積させた低い糞の塚をより適切に表現しますが、大きな丘はそれほど適切ではありません。「丘」を意味するこの象形文字を使用して公開されている語彙はありません。

「Head in two hands, prostrate and rod up repeatedly, head screwing repeatedly, important thing, chattel, cattle」with「soil, feces」as the MALE. Bolt of a door resembles the male member while penetrating an orifice, or goring something. Note that cattle do not normally gore soil, although pigs will root soil with the snout. Glyph is said to refer to the MALE OF A SPECIES, any species and not only cattle…if so, perhaps「head screwing repeatedly」with「rod in flesh seam」fits that general description of a male, a KEY, and possibly whatever HILL, MOUND in which the male member is inserted.「Cattle soil」more aptly describes low fecal MOUNDS deposited on soil by grazing animals, but not so much a larger hill. Note that no vocabulary is published using this glyph meaning「hill.」

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
