Maybe those sheep did start LOOKING PRETTY GOOD AFTER AWHILE, with a DESIRABLE APPEARANCE to their shepherds after a few weeks, days, or even hours away from home (it is reported that sheep have the most beautiful eyes, in particular…), and actually this fact is exactly what this glyph depicts: whatever we are actively engaging sexually that triggers oxytocin and dopamine releases to the brain (even sheep, or shit, or sheep shit, and so on) will soon look BEAUTIFUL to humans:

　Some scholars suggest that this is some sort of headdress fashioned from sheepskin and horns, anciently used as the Miss or Mister Universe-like award for BEAUTY (…we don't think so. See 羹).
