「Looking for plants」(those without thorns, perhaps) that you might want to eat and add to the fleshpot, refers to all sorts of VEGETABLES, EDIBLE GREEN PLANTS, but primarily to the many species of AMARANTH, a pseudo-grain that is highly nutritious, and to Chinese spinach, the leaves of these same plants.「Plant you can see」may refer to the easily-spotted red colors and multi-colors of these flowers, leaves, and seed pods during different seasons.
　Some sources state this glyph also refers to「goat kid」as an animal that will eat just about anything, and some species such as Amaranthus spinosus are quite thorny, although edible, and perhaps only a goat might enjoy it. Amaranthus spinosus seems to grow well in rice paddies particularly, causing some problems at harvest time for farmers who must be on the「lookout for that plant」but not for goats, generally.
　Perhaps needless to point out is the fact that human males throughout all cultures in every age have sought kids (young goats), ewes (young lambs), and human children for sexual release:「emergency use with copulation.」
　「Emergency medical services from copulation」also refers to the green-red-yellow tricolored discharges from infections.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
