Traditional fonts use elements of「flow of fluids」with「array of loose dripping stench」and「rod in copulation」to describe FLUSHING away filth, or more likely, a flow of thick stinky fluids draining naturally down a gradient, such as oozing down a torso or breasts after a CERTAIN STYLE OF BEHAVIOR (see 㐬). Modern fonts use「control, palming」of「loose dripping stench」as the upper elements.「Fluid flow of wasted effort」describes DOWN THE DRAIN, as it were.
　Nevertheless, some scholars say this refers to a child who is or will become lost to the parents:「flow」with「blue stillborn child」also a combination of「expired, set aside, fastened」with「top to bottom」depicting a dead infant wrapped up as a「wasted effort」as FLOWING AWAY, DOWN THE DRAIN, TOSS INTO THE RIVER, ABANDONMENT, CANCELLATION, DEGENERATE and BANISH. Note that ELECTRICAL CURRENT also appears「blue in color」to humans due to the presence of oxygen in our atmosphere.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
