MOTION IN SEQUENTIAL STEPS with the right element that means「tigress or shaman stalking prey.」Glyph may refer to the detailed MOTIONS OF TIGERS STALKING, to stalk a few steps, a little at a time, then stop, hide, and wait while watching, while another tiger assumes the stalking 'point position.' RELAY, meaning to run hard in bursts of speed and energy, and then wait, HANDING OFF control to another, one tiger SUBSTITUTING for another. Tigers normally hunt together as members of a tag team while training cubs and when prey is abundant (if hungry and weakened while prey is scarce, a tiger may hunt alone to devour all the prey possible). Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
