Glyph elements  [ Toggle Font ]

Meanings of elements
FEMALE, WOMAN, GIRL inside SCRATCH SNATCH, CLUTCH, SEIZE IN CLAWS, PINCH
…or: FEMALE with REPEATED BOBBING UP AND DOWN CONTINUOUSLY with emphasis on HOLD ON, CLING, DIG INTO, TO RAKE, STRIP OFF, CRAWLING
…or: FEMALE and TALENTED USING BOTH OF ONE'S HANDS TO ACCOMPLISH A TASK with REPEATEDLY DAZZLE, FLASHES, SPARKLE, LOOSE STUFF SPEWING or with HAND REACHING
…or: TALENTED HANDS and ADEQUATE, SETTLE FOR, REASONABLE VALID DEPRAVITY, SATISFACTORY, APPROPRIATE, SOFT AND GENTLE
「Talented hands of/with/by female, softly and gently grasping」is suggestive of STROKING, RUBBING a delicate zone, either her own or someone else's. Nevertheless,「hand use that is depraved when grasping a female」or「hand use when grasping a depraved female」is to squeeze until the natural shape is deformed by CRUMPLING that no-longer-integrated foot, breast set, ears and hair, or genitalia as it is put to use STROKING, RUBBING a delicate zone of the grasper.
The human female sense of touch is much more sensitive than that of a male, with some sources suggesting ten times as sensitive…this does not mean that females feel to some degree more than a male, so for example if a male and a female were both struck on the head with similar blows, they would both feel pain to about the same degree. It means that much less sensation is required for a female to feel a touch compared to a male: as another example, if a gnat alights upon the ankle skin of a male he is not likely to notice, but the same gnat landing anywhere on a female will draw her attention immediately. Some postulate that males racing after prey through savannah brush could not afford to feel every possible scratch and gnat, but a female sitting in a cavern while nursing an infant needed to know when a centipede was approaching her thigh, hence this difference evolved. So, when thinking about touching a female for most any reason, remember: less is more (generally speaking).

EDRDG: rub; stroke with hands; crumple

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect. The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language? (More...) Despite how bad the human world is today, do you actually believe that the so-called good old days were any better? Or they could only have been worse?

By the way, with a limited number of the same elements used by the sages again and again to form these glyphs, you should expect to find the same explanations again and again, as tedious as that may become, and as an inherent trait of any dictionary. This site explains the dual meanings of glyphs most often ignored by other sources that provide you with only the sanctioned definition, generally.
