Fonts display these elements using some variations:「downward thrusting penis」with「crotch」(when used as an element in other glyphs). Or as「repeatedly with a friend」「repeated bobbing, hand in crotch」「thousand times with crotch」: all possible elements meaning APPROACHING A GOAL. Reference to a DOG PRICK as one that is「downward thrusting a thousand times in a friend's crotch」as if eternally hard and possessing a spearing baculum, as does a dog. Note that a「dog」is a euphemism for a male human among many cultures worldwide: STARTING A PRICK.
　While the old glyph meaning 'dog' (犮) is similar, it still retains important differences. A dog is a relatively intelligent animal and does not often require 'pricking to make him go' as most any dog owner can attest. A dog soon learns to respond to the verbal commands of his master, and even to gestures. Instinctively a pack animal, a dog will follow the pack leader after the pack 'pecking order' is established (normally, a dog learns that the human master is the 'pack leader' and therefore has first pecking rights). A prod or prick might be necessary to use on a dog only when rabid, or while having gone wild with excitement during copulation, or in a fight with another dog (not unlike male humans in that limited regard, and many other animal species).

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
