Note the first meaning in Chinese is a REPEATED SLAPPING OR BEATING SOUND, such as might be made with a snare drum, DRUMMING (see 壴, 鼓, and 鼔 for details).「Crotch head」with「dripping, cool, two」inside the legs refers to the COOLER regions of the male body that must be maintained at a temperature lower than the rest of the body in order to generate healthy spermatozoa…see glyph using 冬 as an element: 'bush cricket' (螽), the animal with the world's largest testes as a percentage of body mass.
　Normally,「two descending between spread feet」describes the testicles slowly descending from the abdomen through the inguinal canal, a tube-like passageway in the groin, into the scrotum:「As a baby boy grows inside his mother's womb, his testicles form inside his abdomen and move down (descend) into the scrotum shortly before birth. 　「Two」also refers to the two physical conditions of the scrotum containing the testicles, contracted as when the external temperature is cold (to warm the testicles) or relaxed as when the external temperature is hot (to cool the testicles). That slapping sound heard sometimes when testicles in a loosened scrotal sac strike against a partner.
　「Ice, freeze」「slowly descend from above, stopping and starting」as do testicles「two between spread feet」and WINTER, the coolest season of any locale, hence formerly the time when most of the populace slaughtered and dressed livestock, or for emasculating bullock calves into steers, being the season when the meat might not spoil as fast and humans had a head start over maggots, unlike during other seasons. Top element is「spread feet」using elements of「head in crotch」while butchering as a situation that will normally cause an animal's hind feet to become spread a bit (skinning and butchering a carcass begins in the animal's crotch). Two hind feet of an animal carcass were then bound (as were the dis-integrated feet of girls striving to become divine, meat sacrifices) by each leg, and then hung for carcass dressing, and for curing the meat for many weeks during the cold WINTER season.
　And in dynastic China,「two dripping, cool spread feet」refers also to the dis-integrated feet of a young girl as sacrificial meat: the dis-integrating was normally performed in WINTER when the numbing cold would naturally help ease the pain of the dis-integrating and binding process:「The process was started before the arch of the foot had a chance to develop fully, usually between the ages of 2 and 5. Binding usually started during the winter months since the feet were more likely to be numb, and therefore the pain would not be as extreme.」
