Opened, uncovered and bright naked slopes, the sunny side of a hill, YANG or MALE (the opposite of「yin」阴) as「slope, hill, human backside」with「not closed, gushing with bubbly chunks.」These elements may just as well be interpreted as「human backside」and「female role of fellating—do not, never do」perhaps as a warning not to be licking in there (that's called 'anilingus' apparently, and probably no better method of committing suicide with honor due to the plethora of lethal microbes and vermin denizens of that crack with bags packed and ready to invade a new host via the esophagus, bronchial tubes, or sinuses).「Stay on the sunny side」the FRONTSIDE, the MALE parts. More obviously though is the fact that a female, while at times perhaps interested in looking at another female's backside for comparative purposes or a male's ass for who-knows-what, rarely does a girl have any interest beyond just that. Whereas, a MALE human, swine, bonobo, and so on situated behind the buttocks of most any animal of any sex might have thoughts of「gushing, bubbling, able to open, expanded, brightly flashing, a deep-down glorious feeling.」

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect. The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language? (More...)
