𠫔
Meanings of elements
ARRAYED LOOSE AND DRIPPING STINKY with NIGHT SOIL
…or: HORIZONTAL MOTION of SHORT LEG in SOIL
Chinese sources describe the non-JIS glyph 𠫔 as an old elemental form of「talented arm (with hand)」(), resulting in「talented meat with arm」and「soil, feces, opium.」
However fanciful this may be, a nice suggestion from some members is to imagine the elements as「horizontal」being the overhead door to one's pit hole home with「oneself」under「ground」and meaning to ARRIVE AT THE GOAL by saying those magic words and clicking the heels of one's ruby slippers together, 'there's no place like home' as the ULTIMATE, UTMOST.
Unfortunately, that interpretation ignores the 'fundament' meanings…ONE ACTION LEADS TO ANOTHER until the CLIMAX, actions to reach the goal that someone is LEADING TOWARD, to the FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE, the EXTREME, finally REACHING THE PINNACLE, HITTING THE PEAK, the UPPER LIMIT, implying that IT CANNOT BE ANY BETTER THAN THIS. Glyph seems to connote the opposite of 'dead and rotten, send away' (). Elements of「horizontal motion, array」of「bent short leg, stinky, loose and dripping」in「night soil」refers to an alternative orifice, like it or not.
In Japanese, also meaning EXTREMELY POLITE, behaving in a MOST GRACIOUS and ACCOMMODATING MANNER, and it is difficult to imagine anyone being more accommodating than offering one's fundament for coitus—be sure to see the 'bring a man home for sex' glyph () and 'accommodating, habit-forming' ().

Modern definitions (that generally disregard history) …excluding politically incorrect concepts and other meanings deemed offensive today; may list only pigeonholed definitions, euphemisms, or meaningless mnemonics)
Chinese: to arrive; most; to; until
Japanese: to …, utmost limit, extremity, result, to arrive at, to reach, to attain, to lead to, to get to, to come, to result in, very much, exceedingly, extremely
Unihan extended: reach, arrive; extremely, very
EDRDG: climax; arrive; proceed; reach; attain; result in

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect. The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language? (More...) Despite how bad the human world is today, do you actually believe that the so-called good old days were any better? Or they could only have been worse?

By the way, with a limited number of the same elements used by the sages again and again to form these glyphs, you should expect to find the same explanations again and again, as tedious as that may become, and as an inherent trait of any dictionary. This site explains the dual meanings of glyphs most often ignored by other sources that provide you with only the sanctioned definition, generally.
