「Plants that surround from above, deliberately out-of-reach and contain」are LOTUS plants, with roots, leaves, stems, and flowers: lotus tubers only grow in muck slurry (stagnant mud), always covered by water (like a valley bottom), and not in dry soil. A beautifully shaped plant and flower with ample capacity, large enough to contain Buddha who is often depicted as sitting within a lotus flower, and in the「lotus position」(cross-legged sitting posture in which the feet are placed on the opposing thighs, a「person seated open-legged and revealing all orifices」). Lotus flowers look like large bowls, the roots are always covered in muck, rotund and full of extra-large empty chambers (「orifices」), the seed pods are large, round and ample (again, resembling many「orifices」). The stems are also filled with hollow chambers. Note the individual elements are「plant housed in emitted from person's orifice between opened legs」as depicting the growth medium for LOTUS plant tubers, that is, muck, and the lower elements refer to a LAVAtory, outhouse, or one's「toilet.」Furthermore, the reference to「toilet muck」is obviously associated with anal sex of some sort, as are Buddhists both when referenced within these glyphs and within the historical record.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
