[Japanese variant]「that head and neck in danger」and「firm grasp, bougie reaming with stream of fluids」to indicate CONTEND, VIE, DISPUTE. Formerly,「hand reaching down grabbing」or「meat」or「repeatedly bobbing head with stuff flying out」over「government authority with small stream」(爭), elements referring to a DISPUTE and QUARRELLING with officials over the state of ill health of a subject's genitals. Local governments mandated adherence to policies designed to restrict the spread of infectious disease, STRIVING FOR control of the population and the bacteria responsible for gonorrhea infections, but the medical procedures were perhaps the most painful imaginable so that most men were unwilling to submit or cooperate, DENYING the problem existed with themselves. Note that DENIAL soon leads to an 'urgent, worrying, acute emergence from spewing penis' (急) as the small stream intensifies along with the pain.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
