「Flow of liquids」to「manage, control」your「gaping deficiency」means GARGLING, RINSING YOUR MOUTH. Also meaning TO HAVE ONE'S REVENGE or TO WIPE OUT A DISGRACE (at least, in the perpetrator's own mind) perhaps as an allegory of rinsing one's open mouth and spitting out something foul-tasting. Note the Japanese meaning of「refusing to admit being wrong and adhering to a far-fetched argument」as a「flow to manage a gaping deficiency.」In Chinese, an added suggestion seems to be「wash one's face after eating this」that may be a reference to the original meaning of the center element, virgins who had been rounded up for the lord's harem and bound in order to prevent escape (perhaps) and「manage the bundle of 'em」by a「flow」that produces a「gap, deficiency」and GETTING REVENGE upon one's lord, or the girls.

If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
