「Bunch of snake-like hair heads bundled and tied」refers to VEGETABLES in a produce market presented for sale. Perhaps cooking VEGETABLES long enough to obviate the need for chewing…or「plants bunched and lacking」since meat may have been preferred.「Emerging shafts bunched together, bound and managed for big blowing, sucking off」may have been the shaman's way of telling service providers and clients that they were no better than DORMANT, TORPID VEGETABLES, MINDLESS.
