鎌は、金属が発見される前から人類が発明した最も古い道具の1つです。動物の肩甲骨、羊の角、鹿の顎骨などから作られました。考古学者によって発見された、石器時代以前の上石器時代のもので、鋸歯状の刃（多くの場合、文字通り動物の歯）が付いたこれらの手持ちの道具は、収穫または切断された多肉植物の多くの軸と茎を潰したり鋸で切ったりして形成された緑色のペースト状の臭い物質ですぐに覆われるようになりました（湾曲した鋭い金属の刃は、より最近の改良です）。
鎌の最大限の実用性に加えて、初期の設計の鎌は柄が短く、お尻を突き出して完全にかがむ姿勢で使用しなければならなかったため、適切な構成要素が使用されているのかもしれません。いずれにせよ、ほとんどのユーザーは、当時は「最大限の」ものであったかもしれないこのツールの実用性に感銘を受けた可能性があります。もちろん、後に、最大限の発明はスライスされたパンになりましたが、つい最近になって「ソーシャルメディア」現象（もちろん誤った名称ですが）によって追い抜かれました。

One of the oldest tools first invented by humans, the SICKLE, even prior to the discovery of any metals. Formed from animal shoulder blades, sheep horns, deer jawbones, and other inventions. 　In addition to the sickle's utmost utility, perhaps the right element is used due to the fully bending-over posture with a protruding buttocks needed to use early-designed sickles having short handles. In any case, most users likely were impressed with the utility of the tool, which at the time may have been the「utmost.」Later of course, the utmost invention became sliced bread, only recently surpassed by the phenomenon of 'social media' (a misnomer, to be sure).
　Note that various glyphs pronounced in Japanese as kama have been suggested as the referent to a male homosexual (缶, 构, 釜, or 銍), with these elements「ultimate, the utmost」「person with penis thrusting and spurts」as one possibility.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
