「Beneficial with soil」as CHALK, a mineral compound with calcium and magnesium, comes from the soil and is derived chiefly from fossil seashells. CHALK neutralizes soil acidity and improves crop yields, and is spread over soil by farmers in the autumn after crops have been harvested to prepare for the next planting.
