「軍隊の棒」または「先細りの木質の陰茎を地面に打ち込みながら勃起をねじ込む」は、どちらも、潤滑剤を十分に使用しないことで生じることわざの「お尻が痛い」であるバックサイド心棒を暗示しており、英語では今日でも「クソ野郎」という言葉のあらゆる側面に関連して、脅す、叱責する、訓戒する、罰する、命令するという意味です。警戒し、勧める、最初に挙げた2つの中国語の意味は、「尻を隠す」と「全力で取り組め、すべてに挑戦しろ」の精神を示唆しているようです。それぞれ、同じシナリオ内の2つの当事者の反対の視点から。
「交尾中の犬を両手でつかむ」ことで長時間の接近を防ぐことは、飼い主が犬を叱責していることを意味しているのかもしれないし、あるいはその瞬間の犬の飼い主に対する気持ち、あるいはその瞬間の犬の雌犬に対する気持ちを意味しているのかもしれない（これもまた異なる観点で）：「犬の陰茎の先端がねじれながら勃起して滑っている」…しかし、この象形文字が人間に適用されるのと同様に、陰茎の婉曲表現として「犬」を当てはめることも同様に有効である。

To GUARD AGAINST and EXHORT, the first two listed Chinese meanings, seem to suggest「cover yer ass」and the spirit of「go for it, go for it all」respectively, each from the opposite perspectives of two parties within the same scenario.
　「Using two hands」with「grasp a copulating dog」in order to prevent extended access might refer to an owner rebuking the dog, or also the dog's feeling for the owner at that moment, or the dog's feelings for a bitch at the moment (again with these different perspectives):「dog baculum head sliding with screwing erection.」…although, applying 'dog' as a euphemism for one's penis is equally valid with this glyph as it applies to human beings.
　Perhaps brandishing a「swinging lance with both hands」as a clear warning to stay away as a THREAT, REBUKE, ADMONISHMENT, PUNISHMENT, COMMANDMENT.

If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
