In Asia, a bird that fishes on behalf of humans: a ring is tied around the base of the cormorant's long throat, not unlike a cockring but a bit looser, that prevents it from swallowing any fish it catches. The bird is secured to a rope tether that can be retrieved by the human in control. After the bird dives into the water and catches fish, it is retrieved by pulling the tether, and the human handler performs an action upon the bird's throat by grasping it and sliding a hand up until the fishes pop out of the cormorant's mouth, an action very similar to what appears to be「masturbation of the bird neck.」Many birds at once are controlled by a single human sitting in a boat with the birds circling and fishing. The human's hand actions on all the birds in the group and subsequent ejaculation of fish from each bird's bill in round-robin fashion are akin to the「circle jerking」element, slippery meat that is「cleared with gasping emissions」from the long skinny throat by someone else's hands…only, in the case of the animal, an actual fish is ejaculated from its orifice rather than something that simply smells fishy. Then, people eat the ejaculated fish.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect. The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language? (More...)
