「竹の賭博、暴露、専門家」：バックギャモンは、世界最古のボードゲームであり、おそらく世界最古の職業でもあると推定されています。古代中国では、おそらく双六が西洋のゲームと非常によく似たルールを持っていました（バックギャモンのルールの変形が最近導入される前）。

「Bamboo gambling, exposed, expert」: BACKGAMMON, presumed to be the world's oldest board game and likely the world's oldest profession, too. In ancient China, possibly shuanglu having a quite similar set of rules as the Western game (prior to the recent introductions of backgammon rule variants).
　It is supposed that the single word「backgammon」is derived from Welsh meaning「battle with wee (small, young).」Risky behavior, taking a gamble with a back gammon…English definitions of「gammon」are: deliberately misleading someone with nonsense, lower portion of a pork side of bacon, smoking hams (thighs), the bowsprit attached to the stemhead (the stem's head) of a vessel, moving all your pieces into a winning position before your opponent has any opportunity to move at all…these strangely diverse and seemingly unrelated meanings are suggested by these elements:「announcing one's intentions with the lordosis position spread extensively, exposed and taking a gamble with an expert」or「bowing over with buttocks protruding, screwing for the first time with one's father, twisting in meat having a squeezing grip.」…perhaps these elements explain why external source meanings are not published or available today.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
