[Japanese glyph. See 澤 as the Chinese equivalent]「Flow, tied and in line」as not flowing water, a BOG or SWAMP. Normally places that stink of methane gas as vegetation decomposes, so that the「flow」in this case perhaps is out as swamp gas (not into the area as water)…methane gas is the major component of human flatulence for the same reason, and is why you can actually light your farts on fire (while the force of the outgoing flow of gas is regrettably deflected somewhat, it is still best to be wearing some type of underwear to preclude setting one's scrotum aflame). GLISTEN maybe stems from watching the sunshine glinting off the line of water surfaces, and ENRICH from the decomposition of many plants in bogs, marshes and swamps, providing a highly FERTILE area in and around MOIST humus.
　Also meaning a DALE, a SECLUDED OR HIDDEN VALLEY as a reference to the「closed buttocks crack of the person in front in the line of prisoners or slaves all tied by their genitals」and connected (尺), with the rope causing continuous erections by restricting outflowing blood. A closed buttocks crack is normally an area containing feces, a highly FERTILE and MOIST area, especially if the person behind has ejaculated due to the constant motion of butting into the buttocks crack in front, causing a GLISTENING LUSTER, WET AND SHINY appearance. MOUNTAIN STREAM is again related to a DALE, since valleys often are created by running streams, and was represented by the flow dripping from the rounded buttocks and crack of the person in front.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
