FISH, SLIPPERY MEAT and SUBORDINATE POSITION, DISINTEGRATED FEET

非常に大きく成長する可能性のある底生ナマズで、「劣等な環境に生息する魚」として知られています。一般的には底生で、皮膚はツルツルで鱗はなく、長い尻びれが尾びれと一体になっています。口を大きく開けたこの動物は、「鞘」または武器を入れる鞘に似ていることから、英語では元ー「sheath fish」と呼ばれていましたが、後に「sheat fish」に変化しました（「popped corn」が「popcorn」になり、「iced cream」や「iced tea」など、発音が簡単になったため「popped corn」になったのと同じです）。おそらく指摘するまでもないが、鱗のない、つるつるした皮膚、壊疽に似た色、脂肪分の多い肉は、中国王朝の妾のバラバラになった脚や足に似ており、特に魚と人間が共に年を重ねるにつれて、その傾向が顕著になる。魚は30年以上生きることもあり、運が良ければ「年老いた」妾とほぼ同じ年齢になる。また、その妾も、一般的には底生動物となり、絶えずやってくるより若く、より小型だがよりきれいなモデルと競争することはできない（参照：豑）。

Benthic catfish that can grow very large as a「fish in a subordinate environment」: a bottom-feeder, generally, with slippery skin and no scales, with a long anal fin that merges with the caudal fin. With its mouth wide open, the animal resembles a「sheath」or a scabbard used to hold weapons, hence the original English name of SHEATH FISH, later morphed to SHEATFISH (just like 'popped corn' became 'popcorn' due to simpler pronunciation, 'iced cream' or 'iced tea,' and so on). Needless to point out perhaps, but the scaleless, smooth slippery skin along with the fish's coloration resembling gangrene, and the high fat content of the flesh, resemble the dis-integrated legs and feet of a dynastic Chinese concubine, particularly as both the fish and the human advance in service years. The fishes can live beyond thirty years, about the same age as an「old」concubine if she was lucky, who also generally became bottom-feeders unable to compete with the younger, smaller but cleaner models constantly arriving (see 豑).

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
