「Woody and mounted upon with stretched skin」as three-legged. Or, a stiff backside while sitting on a three-legged stool, penetrating skin of a puckered orifice. Normally, sitting upon a STOOL requires one to spread the legs somewhat (「stretched crotch skin」) to prevent falling or to maintain one's balance.
