Literally to「say chronologically」(as lined up days, perhaps) means to keep a JOURNAL, EVENT LOG, and perhaps a GENEALOGICAL RECORD. Literally「intercourse chronology」or「line up of intercourse events」is also perhaps a JOURNAL, EVENT LOG, and most certainly a GENEALOGICAL RECORD, a RECORD OF MOVES IN A GAME (how obvious is that?).
A physical SPECTRUM of light is none other than a rainbow.
「MUSIC TO MY EARS」and association with MUSES, MUSIC and MUSICAL relates to a Chinese euphemism equating sex with music, such as the 'singing girls' with dexterous tonguing as prostitutes, sex slaves, or concubines, and an event log of music leads to the meaning SCORE AND NOTATION after「intercourse with line-up of spurting in divine, prepubescent array of tonguing mouths」and to keep a JOURNAL, an EVENT LOG of the results to enable making the desired choice after comparison shopping for a new sex slave. A DIVA is a highly distinguished female singer, and the word originates from「divine, a goddess, a really good singing girl」who was trained as the apprentice of a divining female, the local shaman witch doctor…「singing girl」is a euphemism for a superb sexual services provider, perhaps since she can use her tongue so well or because she causes her clientele to cry out loud and burst into hollering song. Shamans sold the services of these girls, and sold the girls themselves, too…called 'witch doctors' because they also sold divination services along with sex, and attempted to doctor folks after contracting a sexually transmitted infectious disease in the 'temple of love.'

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
