Depicts the gamble every person took when entering those divine「gateways for turtleheads」playing the lottery with one's life as it were, remembering that as with any gambling venture, the House never loses and the shaman always gets the better of her clients, eventually.「Gateway of turtles」or「turtle methodology.」…shamans used turtle shells, specifically 'interpreting the cracks in drying shells to divine the future' (…right). Drawing lots, casting lots, also was GOD's methodology of deciding a matter in the so-called Old Testament, and the mafia used it for decades to scam folks, too. Today in the United States of America, it's called「Powerball」and 43 states use it in an attempt to balance their budgets and to pay teacher's salaries in public school systems. Moreover, the glans penis with foreskin resembles a turtle head, and is called so by the Chinese, especially for the methodology it uses of extending and contracting.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
