　In short, what is above a human's eyes is the part of the brain that thinks and makes each of us who we are: THE SELF, I, MYSELF, etc. As what is above the original meaning of「fleshpot, cauldron」where one's supper is percolating, that is perhaps a nose, there to sniff the aroma of what's for dinner, but those smells are only sensed after being processed by the frontal lobe. Where would「I」always want MYSELF to be? hovering over the food cauldron? more likely, thoughts concentrated on fleshpots, service providers, that central spot (央) sniffing fluted flower petals (英 a glyph that also refers to one's intelligence and thought processes).
