LOW-CLASS VILLAGE

In Chinese,「low-class vagina」as A PLACE TO SPEND ONE NIGHT, a LODGING HOUSE and not one's permanent residence, an OVERNIGHT STAY that today might be equivalent to a one-nighter, or a one-night stand (what do you suppose is「standing」all night? what is「being erect」all through the night?). Right element represents「orifice for sex」(邑).
On the contrary somewhat in Japanese,「low-class vaginas」refers to「a somewhat temporary residence」as a lord's official residence in the capital city, used by lords from「lower-ranking areas」when staying in the city for some official business, such as answering a summons from the emperor or shōgun. Lower lords were required to travel to the capital periodically and pledge their allegiance in person, as a means more of forcing potentially rival lords to spend money and reduce their wealth (traveling with a large security force and one's concubines across country was expensive), more than anyone actually believing the hollow platitudes conveyed. This meaning is ascribed from the perspective of the imperial family and highest lords from the capital city, so everyone else was treated as stagnant pond scum smelling like smegma, or, as literal smegma. In modern Japanese, refers to a HOUSE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE or a rural area (a「low village」), such as a vacation home where one can 'mingle with the locals' on occasion, and swap fluids perhaps.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
