「Vulva loose and dripping」with「flesh seam」suggests the outer surface covered with mucus and glistening, one possible cause of a spectral color display if seen under the Sun. Right element formerly was 㣉 indicating that this particular flesh seam was surrounded by「short hairs.」
　「Snake」with「closed flesh seam」may refer to an untreated venomous SNAKEBITE (see 鮀), and the severe tissue necrosis following that will eventually display all colors of the RAINBOW. Right element also resembles the shape of marks caused by many snakebites. If you have the stomach for it, an Internet search of 'snakebite image' will confirm how many colors normally appear. A RAINBOW itself appears as a「two-sided, bending arm, from craftwork」looking like a「seam joining both sides (of the sky) when still loose and dripping」such as just after a squall has passed and the Sun reappears from behind the clouds, but it is still raining nearby. A RAINBOW displays all visible colors of light due to the prism effect of the Sun's rays through the many lenses created by curved raindrops falling some distance between the viewer's perspective and the position of the Sun. Falling raindrops are also depicting emissions from「both sets of genitals working within the seam of a swollen vulva in estrus」(霓) and seeing「all colors flashing」during a 'cloudburst' that is an ancient Chinese euphemism for an orgasm.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
