Herb used in Europe to ward off vampires, SMELLING more STRONGLY OF GARLIC than garlic itself. Its FURROW-SHAPED「tender and unfolded leaves」are harvested and eaten, with those「tender and unfolded leaves」represented in this glyph by the「orifice folded up in each spread foot」or the「orifice(s) between spread feet」of a service provider as a reference to the smell in some sense it would seem. The shape of wild onion stalks when flowering is also rather phallic, and after using a dis-integrated foot in dynastic China, both the foot furrow and the phallus appendage carried the same odor, naturally. FLUTED FLOWER PETALS as a euphemism describe the dual sets of vaginal labia, that perhaps would enclose a STRONG ODOR after many client visitations of the day.

If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
