First, recall that wolves don't actually possess the capacity to whistle:「small meat orifice」: might refer to forming one's lips into a very small 'o' shape, a puckered「miniature orifice」(arguably, the smallest human orifice under most conditions is the one that is nearly always closed in order to prevent the unintended release of fecal matter). Doing so then enables one to whistle, with practice. Whistles and chirps used by scouts and sentries to signal one another when enemies were about, so be sure to see 狼 and find out who was the wolf, and who was being scouted. One can imagine that the first male to spot a prowling female wolf in the heat of estrus (female wolves are called 'bitches' by the way) signaled to his pack buddies, perhaps something similar to what has occurred in the West, with elements as「orifice and rod in reciprocating motions of booty dancers jiggling vibrating, chorus line of singing girls dancing during the rites of spring」as seen in many cartoons of the previous century, a common cause of QUEEFING, WHISTLING, and emitting CHIRPS.
