「Horizontally straight」with「feet」describes feet that are not dis-integrated, curled, gnarled, twisted and cloth-bound…feet that are CORRECT, PROPER and MORALLY JUST, still in the ORIGINAL FORM so that the person can stand and walk UPRIGHT in the REGULAR manner of other human beings. Nevertheless, as roughly half of Chinese women during its peak in the 19th century did indeed have dis-integrated feet, perhaps this glyph also depicts a young girl with NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER, feet prior to that procedure which normally occurred in MID-WINTER, the FIRST MONTH OF THE LUNAR YEAR, the time just prior to dis-integrating when the feet bones weren't yet mangled and crushed:「The process was started before the arch of the foot had a chance to develop fully, usually between the ages of 2 and 5. Binding usually started during the winter months since the feet were more likely to be numb, and therefore the pain would not be as extreme.」

「Vertical with five」suggests a person able to stand vertically with all five toes on each foot, as when not yet busted. Nevertheless,「rod, reciprocal motion with five」and「rod of the dog」suggest application of one-handed rod whacking as NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER, CORRECT, PROPER and MORALLY JUST, the ORIGINAL FORM.
The「fifth rod」as it relates to a dog (see 㠪 and 戊) and man's best friend may suggest 1040 as a very large number of human dogs, and/or a very large number in the array of dis-integrated feet common in China's past…note however, it is not too likely that 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 human beings, male and female combined, have yet graced our planet by being born.
「Straight horizontally with cease, halt for a while」「horizontal motion with stop, serious concentration, foot」as REFORM to CORRECT A WRONG, NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER, become STRAIGHT or TO STRAIGHTEN, become MORALLY JUST with PROPER PRINCIPLES and so on, may refer to a medical procedure absolutely required after a body part became bent, crooked, curled, not straight, out of shape (see 歪) and the person in need of moral reform.
「Horizontally straight with feet」may describe someone not using the services offered by the shaman as short-term rentals, someone who walks on by and is not deterred, dissuaded or seduced by dis-integrated feet and small, young, professionally-trained orifice sets, a person who remains on the STRAIGHT PATH in life, CORRECT, PROPER and MORALLY JUST.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment
(see 籒 for that)
and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language.
If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system.
Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is!
Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up.
No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
This site describes glyph meanings, not people.
These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language?
Despite how bad the human world is today, do you actually believe that the so-called good old days were any better? Or they could only have been worse?
By the way, with a limited number of the same elements used by the sages again and again to form these glyphs,
you should expect to find the same explanations again and again, as tedious as that may become, and as an inherent trait of any dictionary.
This site explains the dual meanings of glyphs most often ignored by other sources that provide you with only the sanctioned definition, generally.
