Perhaps, being pushed around by the herd, a consequence of simple lust or falling in love with one or more concubines.
　Some scholars suggest after a DEFEAT, LOSING to your enemies or mean neighbors, your「fleshpot, cauldron」was「whacked」or「pushed over prone and rolled side to side」ATTACKED until cracked or broken and DAMAGED, so that now 'cooking supper is difficult' assuming you are still alive…more likely, one's fleshpot concubines were being rolled by invading enemy troops after securing a victory.
