「Penis」「surrounded on all sides」with「female genitals」perhaps depicting that a man can actually schtup (ejaculation into a birth canal or other attainable orifice) only ONE person at any given moment. Also depicted in the simplified form of「one lance, one dog baculum, the dog stake (弌 penis bone)」depicting that in spite of all his wishes, a man still has only「one lance.」Used as if keeping score of something, such as schtups, and this meant SCORE ONE. Also, simplified as a「penis surrounded and person sitting」(壱) that suggests a male performing a selfie while ALONE, just ONE, or, that in the natural order of biology and human anatomy, each male and female participant does only ONE at a time with the other. Glyph elements changed after the「bean region」was replaced in China by service providers with no-longer-integrated feet who remained sitting most of the time, since standing, walking, running, dancing, kicking and so on were all somewhat difficult with pulverized foot arches.
And of course [not],「samurai covering a scoop」and「samurai covering a bean」also can only be inferred to mean ONE, employing the well-established elemental meanings…(?).

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
