「Stone」referring to a mineral, with「blue stillborn child」suggests a「mineral that is blue」or copper(II) sulfate, a chemical compound from which sulfur can be extracted. This salt in the most commonly encountered form is bright blue. The old name for copper(II) sulfate is「bluestone」in English.
「Stones with blue rod」: vasocongestion, a.k.a. blue balls, is temporary fluid congestion in the testicles accompanied by testicular pain, as「stones with action that does not produce offspring.」Epididymal hypertension can be caused by coitus interruptus or some other failure to ejaculate.
Being unable to breathe as someone sits with their stones upon another's chest also causes bluish death, eventually.
「Stones with rancid copulation rod」will sometimes emit stink similar to that of hydrogen sulfide, the SULFUR stink of rotten eggs.
In its original parlance, describing a thing or situation as "smells fishy" did refer to having probable cause for extreme doubt and suspicion, but most folks do not realize why innocuous fish are so maligned in this manner. Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created.
