　The number「six」depicted as a hand gesture in China by holding the palm down with thumb and forefinger spread wide, with the「crossed」element, bringing the finger and thumb together and apart again, as if MIXING something with your fingers, or, grasping something with the thumb and forefinger, but finally letting go. While this interpretation is nice, it seems to ignore the more common meanings of INTERMINGLING socially, EXCHANGING and ASSOCIATING, an INTERCHANGE of something. No clue is offered as to why six members form such a perfect circle for jerking, and we may not know until we experiment with that ourselves.
